IPTV No Sound or Volume Not Working: how to fix it

Video plays but there is no audio, or the volume control has no effect. This is one of the most common IPTV issues and usually has a quick fix. Below are the typical causes followed by 5 proven solutions.

  • Player audio track set to wrong language or disabled
  • Bluetooth speaker latency or pairing issue
  • Device audio output mismatch (e.g. Dolby vs PCM)
  • App volume separate from system volume

How to fix iptv no sound or volume not working

Fix 1

Check the in-app volume — IPTV players have their own volume slider separate from the device system volume.

Fix 2

In your player, open audio settings and try switching the audio track (e.g. from AC3/Dolby to AAC or PCM).

Fix 3

If using Bluetooth speakers/soundbar, disconnect and reconnect them, or switch to HDMI audio.

Fix 4

Go to your TV/device audio settings and change the output format from Dolby/DTS to PCM — some streams are not Dolby-encoded.

Fix 5

Restart the stream completely; occasionally a corrupt stream packet kills the audio track mid-playback.
