IPTV Black Screen: how to fix it

- Player using wrong video decoder (software vs hardware)

Fix 1
Switch the player decoder: in app settings toggle between Hardware, Software and ExoPlayer decoders until the picture appears.
Fix 2
Disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable — an HDCP handshake failure causes a black screen with audio.
Fix 3
Enable HEVC/H.265 decoding in player settings if the black screen is only on 4K or FHD channels.
Fix 4
Try a different IPTV player app — if the channel plays in VLC but not your main app, the issue is the app decoder.
Fix 5
